Civic Center SPARKLES
Thank you for an amazing 2025 season!
Civic Center SPARKLES is the Conservancy’s horticulture volunteer program created to help maintain Civic Center Park’s stunning flower and produce beds, ensuring the Park stays green and beautiful. Since 2021, SPARKLES has provided weekly care where community members can contribute to a vibrant, accessible urban oasis for all to enjoy.
Interested in supporting?
You can keep the park green and beautiful in two ways: donate or volunteer. Or both!Â
Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know about new volunteer opportunities.
SPARKLES will continue volunteerism efforts during Civic Center Park renovations with horticulture support for Denver Parks & Recreation in various parks around downtown.
Denver Parks & Recreation is a valuable partner to Civic Center Conservancy, and we are excited to extend our robust volunteer program to support:
- Speer Blvd Trapezoid Annual Flower beds
- Gates Crescent Park
- Fishback Park
- City of Cuernavaca Park
- Commons Park
- Denver Skatepark
- Centennial Gardens Park
Horticulture care will include planting flowers, mulching, debris clean up, native bed care, and weeding.
Civic Center Conservancy is continuing to partner with Volunteers of Outdoor Colorado to provide two public volunteering days in 2026. You can sign up for July 7 at Gates Crescent Natural Area and September 15 at Centennial Park through VOC’s website (coming soon).
Registration for our 2026 volunteering opportunities will begin in early May.
Thank you to Denver Parks & Recreation and Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado for helping keep our park clean, green, and beautiful! We look forward to supporting more Denver Parks in 2026!
